The house sits behind a red sandstone-and-terracotta jaali screen in Bikaner, its coffered ceilings and arched black-framed doors carried from the ground-floor drawing room right through to the rooftop terrace and pool below.
Inside, warm wood joinery, brass detailing and a double-height mural wall carry the same restraint as the facade. Each room is furnished for gathering, from the twin-sofa drawing room to the sunken pool terrace at the back of the plot.
