Almatas

A residence built around sculptural feature walls: carved wood screens, relief faces and a hand-carved floral panel, in a warm, layered palette.

The living spaces turn on a run of sculptural walls: a screen of turned black wood, a pair of carved relief faces in plaster, a hand-carved floral panel behind the dining table. Brass and marble carry the same warmth through to the coffee tables and pendant fittings.

Each bedroom takes its own materials and colour: a green-panelled den, a brown textured headboard wall, a fluted oak wall with brass sconces. All of them stay inside the same layered palette as the rest of the apartment.
